A newly published case report by Dr Marco Ruggiero and Dr Renee Badolato documents observations in an 80-year-old patient following eight months of daily Bravo intake.
The report brings together observations relating to gut and liver health, including findings from a follow-up colonoscopy and changes in liver stiffness previously documented in the same patient.
As a single-patient case report, the findings do not establish cause and effect. Instead, the authors propose a testable hypothesis around the potential relationship between a high-biodiversity fermented symbiotic, the gut microbiome and metabolic health.
